Usability Testing

CDC Rx Awareness
RxAwareness.png

Technology Used: Balsalmiq, Word, InDesign

Through this test, I created a series of questions to test the effectiveness of the CDC's Rx Awareness site. Through my user testing, I was able to figure out that there are some gaps in their site design that confuse users and have them end up getting lost. I compiled my findings in the PDF above and created wireframes to suggest a new sleeker looking layout to help give their site a more modern feel as well as make navigation a bit easier.

This new design was created to make sure all audiences, no matter what device they were using could properly read and access the CDCs website.  Along with the research, this project took many different steps including creating personas and explaining my methodology and results.

Dutch Bros Usability

Technology Used: SurveyMonkey, PowerPoint, InDesign

In this project, I looked at the existing website for Dutch Brothers coffee. This was a team exercise in usability testing and customer-focused design. We conducted a series of usability tests through this project through the site Survey Monkey to take a look at what worked and what didn't on Dutch Brothers' current website. After the testing, we took a look at our data to determine what was working and what wasn't. With this information, we then went ahead and created a new site that still fit the aesthetic Dutch Brothers is known for a while, still being more user-friendly.
